Who is BackYard Delights, Inc?

Hi, my name is John Voss and I am the owner of BackYard Delights, Inc. I have been in the pool and spa business all my adult life. I started in Miami, Florida, building a company that specialized in building pools. After many years of building and growing, I sold Dadeland Pools (which is still in existence today) and moved North the Stuart, Florida where I founded another pool company, Custom Pool Mechanics, Inc., specializing in service, repairs, renovations, and decks.  Twenty-six years later, I again sold my thriving business to move north to the peaceful mountains of Blairsville and opened BackYard Delights, Inc.  We currently specialize in Hot Tubs (portable and in-ground), deck (new and renovations), swimming pools, and all your game room needs.

I am a hands-on owner, I get down in the trenches with my guys and still do many of my own repairs, although I do have an excellent service team.  My wife Judy and I have been working together for thirteen years. She is in charge of running our office, our retail store, and our schedules, ensuring everyone is taken care of in a timely manner. Together, we make a great team and truly enjoy what we do.
